Beyond the Golden Sunset and by the Crystal Sea

This will consist of the telling of my newly published book.
Within the beginning of the story it starts of with two boys who had been raised thus far on a farm. Calhoun, who is three years older than Jake, though, living a little better than two hundred miles apart, also them as yet having never met, even so do meet and become life long friends.

They'd both lost both father and mother and in that order, when very young. Them living in some most crucial times...times when money was terribly hard to come by, as well. This presented both the mother and child in both cases with much hardship. There being no money from insurance to pay off any of the accumulated bill's that had plagued them, due to this misfortune of the loss of first the father, then shortly thereafter the mother as well.

Both did have quite a struggle of it. Finally, leaving the farm type of living and heading off to the Gold field. For this was within the 18th Century and a lot of people were striking it rich in many different places.
Hopefully this will give you some idea as to what the story consist of.
